Psalm 56
When David was surrounded by enemies and his situation looked insurmountable (fear, naysayers, enemies, liars, etc), He says, “You number my wanderings; put my tears into your bottle; are they not in your book? When I cry out to you my enemies will turn back. This I know because God is for me.”
Instead of looking at the situation, he looked to God; the way maker and protector.
I am reminded in reading this passage that David had confidence in the faithfulness of the lord vs fear over his circumstance.
My prayer for you is that God continues to uplift you, that you may see his peace, his purpose and his faithfulness in your situation. I pray that you would chose to see his faithfulness in the midst of adversity over hopelessness and failure.
Things don’t work out the way we want them to but God is always in control. When we surrender and trust in him, we can have peace and joy even if the “mountain doesn’t move.“
